We carry out industrial analysis and elemental analysis of solid fuels such as coal and coke in accordance with standards. We meet various testing and analysis needs, including general property analysis.

We carry out general and special analyses of various kinds of samples including crude oil and petroleum products such as gasoline, kerosene, Diesel fuel, fuel oil and lubricants, as well as SAF (sustainable aviation fuel), MGO (marine gas oil), fuel oil (VLSFO, Grade A fuel oil, Grade C fuel oil), recycled fuel oil, and naphtha. We also handle CBO (carbon black oil), creosote oil, coal tar, and pitch.

Analysis methods we employ conform not only to typical domestic standards, including JIS, but also to various international standards, including ASTM, ISO, EN, IP, UOP, and AOCS.

We also conduct customs analysis (Category 27 [paints, lubricants, sprays], component analysis).
We can also handle various manufacturer-specified performance evaluation tests such as engine oil freeze testing. We develop and implement custom-made tests.

Various biomass and synthetic fuels are used as alternative fuels to fossil fuels.
For solid fuels, we analyze wood pellets, PKS, EFB, charcoal, etc., and for liquid fuels, we analyze BDF (FAME, UCOME), SAF, HVO, Used cooking oil and animal/vegetable oils, other fats and oils, bio-naphtha, FT synthetic oil, e-fuel, etc.
For standard testing, we handle ASTM D7566 (SAF), EN14214 (FAME), etc. We also conduct more detailed compositional analysis.

We analyze recycled fuels such as plastic pyrolysis oil, rubber pyrolysis oil, tire pyrolysis oil, recycled oil, thermal decomposition oil, and waste oil, as well as solid fuels such as RDF, RPF, and sludge. We evaluate products from various perspectives.

We conduct quality analysis of organic chemical products (alcohols, solvents, glycerin, esters, AUS 32（Aqueous Urea Solution 32%）, inorganic chemical products (phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, caustic potash solution), etc. We handle a wide range of domestic and international test methods and standards.

We conduct analysis of solid industrial products such as salt, sulfur, and soda ash in accordance with standards.

We handle inspections in all situations related to food, including safety confirmation inspections (radioactivity, heavy metals, pesticide residues, mycotoxins, etc.) and labeling-related inspections (nutritional components, food additives (preservatives, sweeteners), expiration dates, etc.).

We can also handle ISO/IEC17025:2017 accredited radioactivity inspections.

We provide comprehensive assistance from HACCP system implementation to verification, operation, and hygiene inspection.
We conduct training sessions to improve knowledge and technical standards, and provide acquisition support and third-party evaluation for standards (HACCP, ISO22000, etc.).

We analyze nutritional components and safety-related components of fertilizers and feed (in addition to general items such as moisture and crude protein, we analyze melamine, cyanuric acid, mycotoxins, and fatty acid composition).

We conduct inspections in accordance with Japanese Official Method of Feed analysis standards and Fertilizer examination.

Black mass is a material obtained by processing used lithium-ion batteries. Black mass contains useful metals such as lithium, cobalt, nickel, copper, and aluminum, making it an attractive recyclable resource. We analyze lithium, cobalt, and other components in black mass, as well as coexisting impurities.

We measure useful metals (aluminum, copper, silver, etc.) and hazardous metals (lead, cadmium, arsenic, selenium) contained in solar panels.

Ferroalloys are materials added to iron to enhance properties such as strength, toughness, and heat resistance. We continuously perform wet chemical analysis in accordance with JIS standards. Additionally, we meet diverse customer needs through our proprietary analytical methods.

Non-ferrous metals are metals that do not contain iron, such as ceramics, precious metals, and rare metals. We conduct standard confirmation analysis and impurity analysis.

Iron ore, silica sand, and other resources contain many industrially useful components. We conduct component analysis and crystal structure evaluation using X-ray diffraction.

We have all sample preparation equipment including jaw crusher, fully automatic vibration mill, sample mill, planetary ball mill (agate, tungsten carbide containers), vibration mill (steel, tungsten carbide), and drills. Article 17, Paragraph 1 of the Special Cargo Vessel Transportation Regulations stipulates that “the captain shall not transport bulk liquefying substances on vessels other than liquefying substances for which the regional transport bureau director or registered inspection organization having jurisdiction over the location of the liquefying substances has measured the transportable moisture limit (TML) and moisture content (MC).” NKKK conducts TML and MC measurements of liquefying substances as a “registered inspection organization.”

Based on the UN Test Manual, we conduct hazard evaluation for transportation (flammable liquids, combustible solids, self-heating substances, oxidizing substances, corrosive substances, explosives, polymerizable substances, etc.).

The Basel Convention is a law aimed at environmental protection by regulating the export, import, transport, and disposal of specified hazardous wastes. We handle analysis of substances subject to regulation.

Both the WEEE Directive and RoHS2 Directive are laws established by the EU aimed at preventing environmental pollution by electrical and electronic equipment. We analyze prohibited and regulated substances targeted by each directive.

We conduct determination tests for Fire Service Act Class 4, Class 2, alcohols, and designated combustible materials.
